Free session at the Vox, Chamonix cinema, 23th of June

8pm - "Bande de skateuses", free session at the Vox Cinema + Launch of the summer girls session

5pm-7pm : Girls session at the Chamonix skatepark with Marine Montesinos, vice champion of France in 2017 and the instructor Alice, who will be there all summer, once a week at the park for free sessions between skateboarders. Aperitif offered!

8pm: Screening at the Vox cinema in Chamonix of the Canal + documentary "Bande de skateuses", directed by Marion Desquenne, who has followed the best French skateboarders for several years.

Synopsis: "Once considered a sport reserved for boys, skateboarding has experienced its female revolution since 2017, the year skateboarding became a new Olympic discipline.  Since then, the community of girls in skateboarding has continued to grow and impose itself. "Bande de Skateuses" is a choral film that tells the story of the destiny of some of the best French female skateboarders in 2021. Thanks to the story of Charlotte, Shani, Jeanne, Madeleine, Lucie, Louise-Aina, and Claire, we discover the skateboarding culture in immersion, its lifestyle, its language and its values during the symbolic year of the first skateboarding Olympics in Tokyo in August 2021. 

9:30 pm: Time for discussion after the screening with the director and Marine Montesinos, vice champion of France in 2017.
